Storyline

Synopsis

The Death of Robin Hood reimagines the legendary outlaw not as an untouchable folk hero, but as a man nearing the end of a violent life and forced to reckon with everything he has done. After what he believes will be his final battle, Robin is left gravely wounded, physically diminished, and emotionally exposed in a way that the legend surrounding him has never allowed. Removed from the momentum of battle and the certainty of old myths, he comes into the care of a mysterious woman who offers not only shelter, but the possibility of redemption. Her presence transforms the story into something more introspective and haunting, asking whether a man built by bloodshed, theft, and rebellion can still find grace when his power is fading. As Robin reflects on the crimes and choices that shaped him, the film explores the distance between the heroic stories told about him and the harder truths he carries inside. Mortality turns every memory sharper, and the promise of salvation becomes inseparable from pain, regret, and the cost of self-knowledge. Rather than retelling familiar adventures, the narrative leans into mood, consequence, and spiritual unease, presenting a somber portrait of a mythic figure confronting the possibility that the final reckoning he feared may also be his only path toward peace.
